A recent participant at Bergplaas shared their exp A recent participant at Bergplaas shared their experience with us: I never thought one could truly connect with nature just by using the five senses, but during our guided walks I was surprised by how deeply nature can heal and comfort. As I sat alone, crying and trying to find myself, a horse approached and gently rubbed his head against mine. I stood up, hugged him, and in that moment I stopped crying. That gesture reminded me that I am loved and cared for, even at my lowest. Bergplaas is a place of healing and peace, it has its way of finding your heart’s desires.
