Bergplaas offers comfortable accommodation for up to 18 people in double rooms. These are shared on some of the courses and individually occupied on others. Bathrooms are shared, as are the common rooms, dining rooms, lounges, library, bomas and conference/workshop room.
There is no internet or mobile phone connection but landline telephone calls can be made on a pay-per-call basis.
Bergplaas offers overnight accommodation for individuals or small groups, including cycling groups (Bergplaas partners with Great Karoo Cycling) and hiking groups @ R450 per person per night for accommodation. Catering can be arranged and costed according to the group’s needs. This needs to be booked well in advance.
“I’ve always spent a lot of time in natural environments, but in a far more goal-driven way, such as mountaineering. On this programme I’m connecting with the natural world in a very personal way. It’s got me thinking of ways to include the programme in corporate and commercial mediation as I think it would be a wonderful catalyst for problem-solving.” -
